A year of change and impressive milestones

The year 2023 is coming to an end, so it’s time to look back on the eventful months that were full of challenges and important decisions for ARJES GmbH. Due to different opinions about the strategic direction of the company and the influence of external factors in mechanical engineering, particularly in the area of recycling technology, which should not be underestimated, the course was set for the beginning of a significant upheaval.

April 1, 2023 marked the beginning of one of the most significant milestones in our history. ARJES GmbH took over the shares of EuRec Environmental Technology GmbH as well as its real estate and land. In the following weeks and months, the gradual relocation of our headquarters from Leimbach to Merkers began. At the same time, ARJES IMPAKTOR GmbH was founded, and our existing product groups were strictly divided.

Nine months later, we can now proudly look back on the positive changes that have already been achieved at the new location. Numerous investments went into modernization work, the expansion of the company premises and the purchase of new work and factory space. And why? Because we firmly believe in the constantly growing demand for our solutions in recycling technology and an economically strong production location with committed employees in Thuringia!

Of course, this year also brought new and sometimes unexpected challenges. Merging two company cultures with the aim of implementing a corporate strategy was not always easy. In addition, limited rooms and storage areas became a logistical Tetris game in XXL format. Nevertheless, we always managed to find the right solutions, and so we will continue to take further steps in the coming months to bring our manufacturing capacities to the level that the market expects from us.

Our philosophy of being the manufacturer of industrial shredding technology with the best price-performance ratio in the recycling industry remains our motivation. It will soon become clear how we will put this promise into practice in the coming year 2024,” says Thomas Hayn, Managing Director of ARJES GmbH.

With a positive outlook for the world’s leading trade fair IFAT Munich, we will start the new year after a short Christmas break from December 22, 2023 to January 5, 2024. We would like to take this opportunity to wish our business partners, customers and especially our colleagues at ARJES IMPAKTOR GmbH a Merry Christmas and successful prospects for 2024.
