Facts about commercial waste recycling

In Germany, the disposal and recycling of all types of waste materials is strictly regulated and supported by the Circular Economy Act. Every year, millions of tonnes of commercial waste are generated, a large proportion of which can be recycled. Recyclable materials such as plastics, metals and paper are converted into new products. Each tonne of recycled plastic saves one tonne of CO₂ compared to petroleum-based plastic. Non-recyclable components are used as refuse-derived fuels to generate energy in the cement industry and other thermal plants. This reduces the use of fossil fuels and helps to cut CO₂ emissions.

Our stationary EKOMAXX and TITAN models are the ideal choice for pre-shredding municipal and commercial waste. For small to medium quantities and waste types such as plastics, packaging and waste wood, the mobile EKOMAXX 800 can also be used. For larger quantities and extremely demanding materials such as mattresses, carpets or fishing nets, the TITAN 900 and TITAN 950 offer maximum mobility, performance and efficiency when shredding.
