The Hurni Group, a traditional Swiss family business, operates in the fields of building materials, waste disposal, recycling, excavation, and demolition. The first two-shaft shredder, EuRec S-750, has now been delivered to Remo Recycling AG, one of the five business divisions of the group, and put into operation thanks to the competent support of ARJES’ sales partner Probst Maveg.
Remo Recycling AG processes around 5,000 tons of waste wood annually, ranging from categories A1 to A3. To meet the increasing demands, the company was looking for a new, reliable shredder that could efficiently prepare the material for energy recovery. On the recommendation of an employee, the first contact was made with Swiss construction machinery specialist Probst Maveg. After visiting a long-standing customer who has already successfully used the predecessor model ARJES VZ 750, interest grew significantly.
The successor model, EuRec S-750, was made available to Remo Recycling AG for two weeks to thoroughly test the shredder and compare it with other models from our competitors. The shredder immediately impressed with its ease of use, compact design, good transport capabilities, and excellent price-performance ratio. However, the deciding factor for the purchase was the enthusiastic feedback from the machine operator, who was absolutely convinced by the performance of the EuRec S-750. After 140 operating hours, Remo Recycling AG is very satisfied with their decision. The semi-mobile shredder meets all expectations and optimizes the waste wood processing operations on the company premises.
“We would like to thank Probst Maveg for the excellent advice and support, and we wish Remo Recycling AG many successful operations with their new EuRec S-750,” said Lennart Stecher, ARJES field service representative, during the official handover and commissioning.
