Only a few days stand between us from the end of 2022, a year that has been challenging in many ways. At the end of last year, we were still talking about rising figures; be it with respect to the Covid-19 pandemic, or to the incredible rise in our sales figures. This latter success made it clear to us that we are on the right track as a mechanical engineering company in the recycling industry.
At the beginning of 2022, we set ourselves the goal of maintaining this success, as well as significantly increasing our production capacities with the construction of a new IMPAKTOR assembly facility. Unfortunately, our 15th anniversary faced far greater challenges than we could have ever imagined. The beginning of the war in Ukraine, to which we have very close economic and personal connections through our Ukrainian partner plants, brought with it serious supply difficulties as well as other issues. The consequences of this were felt very quickly by our distributors and end customers. So many orders, combined with too little supply led and continue to lead to the ongoing frustration of extremely long delivery times for our shredders. However, our suppliers have been able to confirm that these issues are expected to ease significantly in the coming year. For this reason, we have already ordered our parts and materials, and are set to significantly increase our production capacities in 2023.

Every challenge presents new opportunities, especially in these rather difficult times, and so we’re seeing plenty of avenues for change. Just in the last weeks of 2022, we have already been getting some things rolling and set our preliminary goals for the coming year.
