With over 620,000 visitors from over 200 countries the bauma 2019 achieved the best results of its 65 year long history. Compared to the last event in 2016 the number of visitors increased by around 40,000. Around 3,700 exhibitors from 63 countries set a new record on the exhibitor side. With an overall area of 614,000 m² another record as the largest bauma of all time was being set.

For ARJES the week from 08. to 14. April 2019 was extraordinarily successful. Above all, the demand for the new IMPAKTOR 250 EVO was so enormous that the order books for the entire year are already well filled. Potential interested parties were not only looking for a machine for processing mineral materials, but were also interested in shredding trunk and waste wood, tyres, waste and light metal. ARJES was able to meet all these requests at bauma 2019 with just one answer – IMPAKTOR 250 EVO – the ultimate pre-shredder with the best price-performance ratio. In particular, the combination of a track system and hook lift version as well as the quick-change shaft system attracted great attention and curiosity among the visitors.

All trade fair visitors interested in higher requirements and throughput rates for shredding were able to get a close look at the VZ 950 TITAN painted in the original “Bandit-Colours”. This machine, too, has been further developed and optimised since its market launch at IFAT 2018.

The fact that sustainability plays an important role for ARJES had been mirrored into our trade fair stand. Tables, counters and seating furniture were all made from pallet wood and oil barrels while an old sea container had been converted into a lounge area with a separated kitchen area. The shredding shafts of the machines also played a major role, serving not only the actual purpose of demonstration but also as supporting columns for the roofing. Even the well-known scrap dealers, Manni and Uwe Ludolf, were once again present at the ARJES stand and made a long lasting impression with lots of entertaining discussions on the exhibition grounds.

The entire ARJES team would like to take this opportunity to thank all sales partners who actively supported the sales staff at this year’s bauma and thus contributed to the essential success of this trade fair (Kurz Aufbereitungsanlagen, Teufelsmoor Baumaschinen GmbH, Moerschen Mobile Aufbereitung GmbH, Oppermann & Fuss GmbH, Andersen Contractor AB, Bandit Industries Inc., Bax Baumaschinen Polska Sp. z.o.o, Carmel Natural Products Ltd., DOYLE MACHINERY Limited, Haberl Baumaschinen GmbH, JAWS Crushers PTY Ltd., Meca Soude, MYCSA Mulder y Co S.L., Nakic-Alfirevic d.o.o., Østli Attachments, PROBST MAVEG AG, UNIWAB d.o.o., Waste Tec s.r.o.). Special thanks are due to the Ludolfs who, despite the icy cold on the open-air grounds, always welcomed every single stand visitor with motivation and good humour.
