NordBau in Neumünster, Germany, is one of the most important construction trade fairs in Northern Europe. Since it was founded in 1956, it has developed into an important platform for the construction industry. Every year in September, around 700 to 800 exhibitors from 15 countries present their latest developments and products on an area of over 89,000 square metres. The trade fair attracts around 50,000 to 65,000 visitors and covers a broad spectrum, including building construction and civil engineering, construction machinery, municipal technology, building materials, refurbishment and energy technology.
NordBau is accompanied by an extensive congress programme with over 30 specialist conferences and special shows on current topics. It is aimed at a broad specialist audience, including architects, civil engineers, private and public building owners and tradespeople. The trade fair is regarded as an important compact trade fair for the construction and municipal technology sector in northern Europe and the entire Baltic Sea region.
