IFAT Munich 2026 is the world’s leading trade fair for environmental technologies and is considered the central industry gathering for solutions in the fields of water, recycling and the circular economy. It will take place from 4 to 7 May 2026 at the Munich Exhibition Centre (Trade Fair Centre Messe München, Am Messesee 2) and will bring together several thousand exhibitors from over 60 countries and an international audience of experts. The trade fair is thus the heart of the global IFAT network and will celebrate its 60th anniversary in 2026.
In terms of content, IFAT Munich 2026 covers the entire spectrum of environmental technology: water and wastewater management, waste and recycling technology, resource and raw material management, digitalisation and smart infrastructure solutions, circular economy and climate protection technologies. Innovative products, systems and live demonstrations will be on display across approximately 300,000 m² of exhibition space. This will be accompanied by a comprehensive supporting programme of expert forums, conferences, panels and solution tours, promoting knowledge transfer and networking between industry, politics, local authorities and science.
